If its good enough for the Olympians

You may have noticed that lots of the Olympic athletes this year have round, red marks over their bodies. This is from cupping therapy, which has been practised in the East for thousands of years. Suction cups are placed over the body at particular sites to encourage blood flow to the area - this helps with pain, e.g. neck, back, shoulder pain and speeds up healing if there has been an injury.

The treatment doesn't hurt, you literally feel like the skin is being sucked into the cup - which is exactly what is happening. The red marks that occur after the treatment will fade away within a few days.
